If we can make it there, we can make it anywhere

Hello fellow P-listers,

Next week my family and I will be visiting New York, because if not in
mid-February, then when?  I would appreciate any recommendations about what
to do or eat, especially if not inconvenient from the Upper West Side,
where we will be staying.  Maybe a Bleeding Edge walking tour?  I would not
be adverse to a P-list meet-up, but am not sure that my wife and kids (15,
12, 8) will feel the same way, so not sure how that would work.
