Question 'bout TP on Catch 22

hello P-listers,

Hope you are all keeping cool as possible and finding time to care about
something.

Many of you have heard about or read Pynchon's very positive response to
Heller's Catch 22.

"I love it. I won't tell you how much, or why, because I always sound phony
whenever I start running off at the mouth like a literary critic. But it is
close to the finest novel I've ever read.

ps -- Who is this guy Heller and when is he going to write another one?"

Do we know the source for this? Was it one of those letters that Candida
sold and is hands off? I've checked the HRC letters and I'm pretty sure
it's not in there. Write me off list if you prefer.
