"We can't ignore extremist nationalism," says the husband of slain Labour
MP Jo Cox.
Some look at the Brexit issue and say: "Power to the people." Most of my
British colleagues don't see it that way.
"Patriotism is the virtue of the viscious," said Oscar Wilde. We know what
it is for the scoundrel.
"Britain first!" they shout as they ravage the streets of some French city.
These same folk that claim their democratic right to separate from the EU
would not stand for Wales and Scotland leaving the UK (a Union created out
of the blood of Glen Coe and later in Culloden).
Like uncle Jerry used to sing: "Don't lend your hand to raise no flag atop
no ship of fools."
Ah, Lord what fools these mortals be!
