just happened to be poking around and noticed a new bio of Hitler is being
released today in the UK (in the fall in the US)

I'm not familiar with this historian. anyone read him?

book has gotten good reviews in the German and British press

So far, Fest's bio is the best one I've read

Lots of great scholars out there (especially important with a guy like
adolf--so much nonsense published) but we require great writing as well

Peter Longerich I am familiar with--a bit more academic and dry but cant
fault his research. he's got a hitler bio coming out in English next year,
too
