I liked stouts when I lived in the Boston area. That love faded when I
moved to New Orleans. I think stouts fortify the cold body, but are too
thick for these hot climes. I don't like lights or Dos Equis stuff. German
ales or IPAs are my style in this high heat/humidity zone. Flavorful, but
not heavy.
