NP: Cohen

[Smoke Teff]

This is a little story about Cohen writing a letter to a former lover/muse,
Marianne, as she was dying this August. It's worth reading.

Leonard Cohen is one of the only good things I share with my dad, who
himself is in failing health. "So Long, Marianne," is his favorite song. I
read him Cohen's letter to Marianne this morning. It was the closest we've
felt to each other in months.
