I had a black cellmate that didn’t have a TV and I gave him a copy of Lot 49 to read and after 10 minutes he said “This some fuckin’ white people shit. You got any hood-books?” (urban fiction about…well, just listen to any type of drill rap and that gives you a good overview). So my guess is that if there are, they didn’t get turned on to him in the joint.

The cop phone shakedown is another scam where who knows what % makes it to local cops.  They do send you a sticker for your windshield which might get you mercy if pulled over for driving too fast, or swerving, but if black, you're probably out of luck.
