NP: RIP William Gass

It really is extraordinary writing. The metaphors are like... (I'm not even going to try)... David Foster Wallace called them "light through ice".

I'm not sure why people have trouble with The Tunnel—it's highly readable. (I'm serious—almost too sugary) Go pick it up!
