So, David, what about the Honduran family I know through tenants' rights
organizing here in LA, who refused to vote for Hillary because of her role
in a coup that ruined their country? (And no, this isn't some conspiracy or
overblown narrative, this isn't Benghazi v.2...Clinton is partially
responsible for the crisis Honduras is in today, that's a fact.)

Are they assholes because you have decided that they didn't vote in their
own best interests, that you know better than them? I suppose those aren't
the kinds of people you meant, however...you were referring to white,
comfortable leftists without much at stake. Fine, but why then are you
erasing the *many *people who are vulnerable and marginalized and exploited
who made the choice not to vote for Hillary? Seems rather paternalistic.

Why aren't you instead blaming a party that rarely speaks to the material
needs of the people it courts as its base? Democrats are garbage, and
people know it. The way they prioritize 'responsible bipartisanship' and
'incremental change' doesn't fly with people anymore. The voters didn't
fail Hillary, Hillary and the Democratic party failed time and time again.
We do need a left in this country, and it is emerging and it will
absolutely leave the Democrats and their weak tea center-left apologists
behind.
