NP - The Better Angels

Watched on Kanopy tonight. Beautiful images, in black & white, of beautiful
actors in idyllic scenes.  Death is always underneath everything seen.
Poetic and beautiful past all reality, but it doesn't grate.  The pacing,
music, images & narration flow together well.

I hate Terrance Malick films, and this is by his student/editor AJ
Edwards.  And it feels very Malick, but better.  It is more subtle, less
moralistic than Malick, but it is Malick's spawn.  You might like it, even,
if like me, you hate Malick.
