I, for one, have enjoyed the series despite the miscasting of the two young
leads (the male more than the female). If anything, the series will
hopefully give those in the US some perspective on the trying times living
under an occupying power, something the US has not experienced, which I
think goes to explain somewhat its cavalier and cowboy ways when it comes
to foreign relations.
I dont think any of us here at least have any illusions about the potential
for collaboration with such movements here in the US.

There's another series of the same ilk currently playing in Britain called
SS-GB (based on a novel by Len Deighton) which I hope to watch. I do
remember liking the novel
