I have had the chance to see a not-yet published article by a Pynchon
scholar.

More to say but first, this: he uses in quotes the phrase "bleeding edge"
about the space between the word and the Word in Pynchon. (!)

Also, he says when the travels in Pynchonland are curved and vertical,
their meanings are metaphorical and metaphysical; when the travels are
straight
and horizontal, they are metonymic and secular.

Gimme at least a one-page paper on Either of these obs.
