I come to think of him as a conduit for these kinds of entanglements in the
same way the individuals in, say, M&D are conduits for entanglements of
historical forces much vaster than they (the size of the species and
planet, in fact, and if you don't mind hearing the idea or size of the
universe invoked on a cold Thursday morning...). It's just the role P plays
as conduit is more...prophet-like.
