Well, David, Hersh used to have some credibility back when The Paper of Record was fronting Judith Miller, and the Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate (ISI) was helping Bin Laden, et. al., escape from Afghanistan- much water under the dam since then. And frankly, I don't think that if Trump, himself, signed on to the P-list and began proclaiming that the Russian investigation was a CIA con job, it would influence the Mueller Investigation too much, do you?
I'm much more interested in discussing Bleeding Edge- an amazing achievement in American Letters. It's been seventeen years since 9/11, the time it took Joyce to complete Finnegan's Wake, and the effects are still rippling out from that momentous calamity. It may not have been The Fall, but it was the fall of the virtual American Hegemony in place since Hiroshima. You might also find that the very topics you're so concerned about, as Mr. Kohut has repeatedly implied, are foreshadowed in Bleeding Edge.
I was able to get my hands on Michael Chabon's wonderful review of Bleeding Edge in the NY Review ([November 7, 2013 Issue](https://www.nybooks.com/issues/2013/11/07/)) today, and it confirms my belief that Bleeding Edge deserves more discussion (and praise) then it's gotten, especially here.

"Who gives a fuck about what "Hersh says"? Or why should we? Our lying eyes need more anti-eye-lies? We could spiral this dizzyness into complete inaction, couldn't we?"
