NP - Tolkien Movie

If you were to cut out the five or six TOO over the top moments from the
trilogy (mostly with Legolas), I think it would help more "serious minded"
viewers appreciate the other, rather excellent qualities contained therein.
There are enough truly, inarguably magnificent scenes in the trilogy to
defend its place in the pantheon of All Time Great Movies.

In my opinion, at least.
