It is a barometer we have to get a perspective on, since in one post I
quoted from a NYTimes piece criticizing the
probable inadequacy--missing people---largely "Negroes", of the polling.
But here is is an historical Gallup set of answers for today. The first
date comes from right before ANNIVERSARIES is set, of course.
