Mostly yes.

short topic - why or why not?

- why?
 it moves right along,

it's very potent and pungent,

if there are messages in it, nothing any negative reviewer has ever said convinces me that they are bad messages

the rage-inducing attitudes are put in the mouths of the bad guys

except Sasha and Frenesi whose un-PC lingo you can mostly ascribe to Stockholm Syndrome, and for anything that doesn't explain, imho, you ought to read rilly closely for context and give them the benefit of the doubt

this is vintage, primo, mature Pynchon

I'm still learning from it

-why not?

its reception was rather negative, making it problematic to enthuse over publicly

like any book, there's only so much it can do for you (now I'm imagining if that were not the case)

my lasting relish for it makes it hard to move on & give commensurate attention to Mr Pynchon's later - and perhaps even better - novels
