NP but Nabokov

I think Nabokov's aristocratic yearnings are on full display in Ada.  It is
a world he wished was his, him as Van.

But isn't hairy rubbing against slippery a porn standard, both gay and
straight?  His brother was murdered in the camps by the Nazis for being
gay.  I find this quote ripe with Nabokov's unresolved personal shadow.
