*"Postings* are trails or areas of the park that have been posted as a
warning to visitors to be especially cautious. Postings typically are put
in place to warn visitors of heightened safety concerns in the area, such
as frequent bear or mountain lion sightings close to a trail. The areas
remain open and visitors should proceed with caution."

Metaphorically, I would suggest Kit cuts off abstract discussions of racial
memory and like that by simply asserting that others have gone this way
leaving us warnings. But we go ahead anyway, making pests of ourselves
so---we should be shot at because we've been warned it was dangerous. We
don't need no 'racial memory' bullshit nor a logical refutation of whether
it applies or should be to us.
