Limnology

It was a hard rain... and probably more to come. All kinds of hard rains- metaphorical, for all the other looming disasters, as well as, the watery kind. In the future- these times might be appropriately referred to as "Before the Deluge" by our children, and their children. Tomorrow never knows... Meanwhile, I'm still here watchin' the river flow. And while it does seem somewhat higher and moving with a little more authority than usual, it still gives me a sense of comfort to see it flow. Makes me realize that all those streams and rivulets, within and without us, have a direction... And that our greatest strength, and Lord knows we've got alot of work to do, is when we're all flowing together. Happy Labor Day!
