GR translation: the yellow sun being teased apart

I always hesitate to answer this kind of question from you because it asks
for poetry to be wrestled to the ground and tied up.  But I understand why
you are asking, so here goes:

This is a sexual visual metaphor. The yellow sun is the unified virginal
expanse of sky. The chimneys and smoke are penetrating it repeatedly, and
are thus “teasing it apart,” separating it into segments, or spreading its
legs open.
