GR translation: freak saffrons, streaming indigos

Tulipmania is combined with the greenhouse Pynchon symbol (see hothouse).
Both represent artificial and irrational manipulation of nature.  Saffron
and Indigo were also *highly market-valued objects,* but products of nature.
