The Main Scientist behind MK-Ultra - a book recommendation

Hi folks,

 I hope you're all well. I see that LSD and MK-Ultra  came up on the list
so I thought I might throw something in along with it. All of you Fortean
Times subscribers and Paranoids will generally know about that mad CIA
Project, but what do you know about Sydney Gottlieb? Not much, I suppose,
because there was a time that not even some CIA director's recognised the
name.

If you want to know more you should check out "Poisoner in Chief: Sydney
Gottlieb and the CIA  Search for Mind-Control". One blurb compared it to a
Tarantino movie but that's likely because that critic hasn't read Pynchon.
Insanely vile stuff. Uranium laced cereal fed to "developmentally disabled"
children - really.

The irony of the CIA turning the world on to LSD in an attempt to control
minds would be funnier without knowing the rest.
