Ah.  The mother.  The things we do, right?   Yes, it's the perimeter.  If
you'll permit me, I do tend to go round and round with mine.

But speaking of orbits, and circling around, as the vapor of profound
thoughts was rising from my skull, yesterday around teatime, as a
rainbowbolt it illumined me that Ishmael, in that passage on the Denial of
the Divine, must be saying Jupiter is something between Plato and the
Devil, not a planet, but something of an elliptical nature, say, with Plato
and the Devil as the foci.

As Napoleon said as he emerged the next day from a night alone in the
King's Chamber, "I could tell you, but you wouldn't believe me."
