somehow i got thrown off the list. anyway

I've come across this 1000 pg novel, which though only having read
excerpts, I am quite intrigued by. The level of detail in the 50 pgs I read
which concerns a low-level operative for the counter-terror/far right
terror group OAS at the time of Algerian independence is impressive (u may
want to brush up on yr Alastair Horne).

I hesitate to call it it Pynchonian, but the elements are there
