You don’t know any friendly Russians? Why don't they stand for Russia. Why not choose Tolstoy, Pushkin, Chagall, Solzhenitsen, Tarkovsky. Anyway the reference was to COL 49. Why not look at the Salt treaty? The resolution of the Cuban missile crisis that brought Kennedy and Khrushchev to reason.

Every large country has committed atrocities. The point is we want to see the worst in others rather than accept that the same darkness is within all.
In my own life the US has hardly been a paragon of good behavior, dousing Vietnam in agent orange, bombs, bullets and napalm. Supporting the overthrow of dozens of democratically elected governments, including JFK’s, supporting mass murder in Chile, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Syyria, and now Gaza and the West Bank. The satanic Stalin also defeated Hitlers army. And he is not Russia or all Russians. That is the point of the remarks by Emmanuel Todd.

I agree, am not a believer in any ism, nor in the theory that 51% should decide everything.

And then when you finally find out what they’re selling, it’s expensive and undesirable.

My understanding is that the Steele Dossier was commissioned and payed for by Hillary. Wikipedia says this
:
The clients for the second phase were the Democratic Party and Clinton campaign. This phase, from April to December 2016, was focused on Trump's Russian connections; it was subcontracted by Fusion GPS to Steele and Orbis Business Intelligence and used Steele's own source network and public sources. Only this second phase produced the dossier.[46] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steele_dossier#cite_note-Borger_1/11/2017-49>[47] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steele_dossier#cite_note-Lima_10/27/2017-50>

I don’t support Trump in any way. He is disgusting and I have always said so. Nevertheless Biden, Harris and Hillary supported the genocide in Gaza as does Trump. The US political system is corrupted by AIPAC, Big OIL, Wall Street and militarism.

No he is not implying or in any way saying that. 2 parties can both be corrupt predatory warmongers at the same time. And that is the US now

She threatened to do exactly that though Trump is creating a racist Brownshirt army in ICE. Harris? What good would it do the murdered people of Gaza to be murdered by a democrat who is not quite as openly fascistic. There is a moral scale and the genocide is fascism no matter who supports it.

During the Civil War, for example, Abraham Lincoln called on Russia to send warships to warn the British and French to cease intervening in support of the southern Confederacy [as part of an effort to break up and weaken the U.S.]. Russia was paying the U.S. back a favor—as the U.S. had assisted Russia during the Crimean War. This is a history not taught in schools today—and it is ignored by most academic historians, as is the brutal U.S. invasion of Russia in 1918 with six other countries that effectively launched the Cold War. ↑ <https://covertactionmagazine.com/2021/11/05/ray-mcgovern-the-man-who-got-russiagate-right-and-tried-to-warn-the-public-to-no-avail/#post-28164-footnote-ref-0>
