NP - A brief genealogy of the neo-anti-enlightenment figures (the Sons of Carl Schmitt and Joseph de Maistre)

Hello folks,

The great Isaiah Berlin did a marvellous job in detailing the intellectual
arc of the anti-enlightenment thinkers and their influence on nationalism.
All the more pity we don't have him around today. However, we can look at
some of the players and those by whom they claim to be influenced. (For
example, we know about the connection between the Neocons and Leo Strauss.)

While some have mentioned Peter Theil's (misplaced) admiration of René
Girard, there hasn't been much discussion of his friend Curtis Yarvin. It
provides an even clearer case for the thread of anti-enlightenment
irrationalism that runs through most of the would-be Techno Lords. If
you're not familiar with this inflated scumbag, just take a look at his
Wikipedia page. He claims that US democracy has failed (presumably because
he didn't have a girlfriend until he was able to afford one), has defended
slavery, opposes civil rights, and is racist. This well-placed fascist is
in favor of what he and his pals call the Dark Enlightenment (sounds like
some Sith Lord Golden Age). What is that, you ask. Ok.

Apparently, Curtis takes notes from Nick Land. An English philosopher that
in the 90's, according to the Wiki page, "drew inspiration from
post-structuralist <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-structuralist> theory
and leftist <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Left-wing_politics> thinkers
like Bataille <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georges_Bataille>, Marx
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_Marx>, and Deleuze & Guattari
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deleuze_and_Guattari> as well as science
fiction <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Science_fiction>, rave culture
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rave_culture>, and the occult
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_occult>." He later had a breakdown due
to amphetamine abuse and then moved to China where he now resides. Cool
guy. A genius.

Now, there's nothing wrong with reading Bataille, et al. I did. But I also
realized that they were not the thinkers that would help me find North.
Sounds like Land wasn't a very good philosopher. Land's so-called
contribution is "accelerationism" which is basically rehashed Futurism with
all its fascist trappings.

"Freedom for the wolves," chant the angry INcel tech gang as they imagine
how they will exact their revenge. Yes, in their dreams they are the Wolves
and you are the sheep. That freedom is not for you. Carl Schmitt's freedom
was not intended for Jews or anyone not sufficiently Aryan.

This group that is actively working to subvert and demolish the US Republic
is helped by Opus Dei that has worked diligently to radicalize students on
campus for the last 3 decades. Get "Opus Dei" by Gareth Gore and you will
see who has been busy shaping young people at Princeton and elsewhere.

These genealogies must be brought to light and amplified so that the
conversion begins to focus on the fact that those who claim to be setting
the ship right are actually absolutely dedicated to its destruction so that
they can hammer their "civilization" out of the rubble. Mussolini, Franco,
Hitler, Pinochet, none of them made their country better. They enriched
themselves and their friends while torturing and denying human rights. The
Orange Tyrant and his Silicon Valley supporters will prove no different.

Down with Dark Enlightenment fascists!
In Solidarity,
mc
