Okay okay...so I read spoooooooky comics just like everyone else. What can I say? I'm a slave to conformity. Or something like that. However...it's hard to be a comic book geek and not have noticed these ones...

Jhonen Vasquez is vomit-inducingly funny. He gets away with the most wrong phrases ("There she is spooky staring!! I will surprise her!! I will sneak up and hug her stinky nose!!"), and they're horrendously entertaining. Many people would happily kidnap him and chain him up forever as their personal love/hilarity slave. I hope he roams free for the rest of his natural life, however, as that kind of savage beauty doesn't last long in captivity. I would like to take a moment to thank him for a fine can of Jolt, which was very tasty.
