Somebody posted a notice about this last winter, and the replies (one of
which was mine) indicated some widespread skepticism about the factual
status of TP's involvement in the project.  I love the idea of living in
a world where TP gets on the phone to Thurston Moore, but is there any
evidence that he did?  From the passages somebody quoted back then, my
guess is that it was just some wiseass in Somerville signing "TP" to his
own material.  But I'd be delighted to find out I'm wrong in being so
skeptical about this.
