pynchon clones

Folks,
As long as we're talking about Pynchon wannabes or lookalikes
(Neal Stephenson), I may as well mention that a few years ago
I wrote an article on this same topic called "THe Crime of Plot
49" which appeared in the zine _Science Fiction Eye_.  One of the 
jerks I castigated was one David Foster Wallace, whose _Broom
of the System_ was basically a character-for-character rewrite
of _Lot 49_.  Now I see that he has a new book forthcoming, whose
title escapes me.
