Re: Frenisi's name pronounciation.  While aware of the big-band
provenance of her name, some subtle yet unequivocal passage in 
_V+_ led me upon first reading to believe that some character
or the narrator punned on her name with "free 'n' easy."
I realize that this is not a solid lead--curse this memory--and 
I shall at first opportunity try to nail this down.  A not
unpleasant task.
BTW:  Both Rudy Rucker and I have used Imipolex-G as an off-the-
shelf product in a couple of our stories.
