OK folks,

Here's some more Pynchon-related music. Richard Farina, who (gasp!) actually
knew TP, recorded an instrumental called "V." Soft Machine, the British jazz
fusion hippies from the 60s, did a piece called "Esther's Nose Job."
Sometime in the mid-80s, the Jazz Butcher released a nifty little tune
called "Looking for Lot 49." These are the ones that leap immediately to
mind. Besides Laurie Anderson, Pat Benatar, the Insect Trust, and Kurt
Cobain, are there o
thers? Rhino could put out a compilation CD just for us.
