In the spirit of the "Read the book and you are forced to look elsewhere for 
MORE information. Read the book and you beg to
plumb deeper (through however many toilet tunnels you wish to travel, among 
other avenues)"  - the author of which I cannot acknowledge, since MicroSnot 
E-Mail insists on keeping it hidden from a non-teccie such as I - I wonder 
if any members of this august gathering have seen articles about the Federal 
Emergency Evacuation Route (as in Vineland, p249ff)?

Is the FEER real?  Has anybody written about it?  Even better, has anybody 
travelled it?
