GR for Sega Genesis or 3DO?

For some reason, I see GR as much more of a video game, or rather, suitably
refined VR software somewhere in the future. Multiple-viewpoint-wise.

(Of course, there's always the best video game/VR software of all, namely
blotter acid...)

I haven't seen "Naked Lunch" yet, but I read patches of the book years ago.

Anyone want to comment on how that movie reflected the novel? Without
seeing it, my guess is that Cronenberg is actually a very good director for
accessing certain realities behind Burroughs works. Any other rather
unlikely ideas for a director of GR?

Tom HANKS? No way. I'm sorry, he's turning into the Alan Alda of the late
'90's. Nobody else much springs to mind. I hope they never make the movie.

It's too long a book. It would take at least a miniseries. :)
