Maybe the best recomendation a book can get is that it was remaindered.
The subtitle of _Trading With the Enemy_ is "An Expose of the Nazi-American
Money Plot 1933-1949." I've only read part of it. It's got a good index,
and seems well-documented. Shell Oil Company has only two entries in the
index, though Standard Oil has many. There was a Dell paperback edition in
1984. Higham also wrote a bio of Errol Flynn that stirred up a few ripples,
and he did an interesting interview on KGO-AM (San Francisco's ABC
affiliate) with California Assemblyman Quentin Kopp.
