John from Providence's comment jogged my memory, and I recalled
the Providence mention in GR cuz I had once jotted it down,
_with page citation_!!!!  Wow, what foresight!  Anyhow, on page 
537 of the trade paperback (Viking edition?), we find:  "like
Route One, where it passes through the heart of Providence..."
Aha--but what's the context?
