A Pynchon-l Newsgroup?

Do I remember correctly that, several months ago, Jody Gilbert announced
that he was setting up a newsgroup to which all Pynchon-l postings would be
echoed?  If I do and he did, can anyone tell me how and where to find
the group?  I asked my local news manager to pick up the group, but he didn't,
maybe because he just didn't, and maybe because it doesn't exist?
