I had a word with Jody about this via e-mail when I was trying to pick
up the last slice of archive. He has set up a newsgroup on the sfu
news server which serves both to display and to archive notes.
However, to read the group you need to use an sfu host as your NNTP
server and when you try to talk to it it says that access is
restricted to sfu clients only. In theory, I guess, the sfu news
server could be configured to forward the group to your server (and
others) and vice versa to request the notes but... that would require
favours, savvy and, most important of all, time from your and their
systems people.
