Webley Silvernail

"Speaking of Webley Silvernail...When I read GR I got an uncanny
_frisson_ at that name, 'cuz when I was in highschool in Northern Cal
in the late fifties I had a good friend named Wesley Silverthorne. I
was certain that TRP had lifted that name! How bout that?"

Interesting coincidence--but here's another: in THE BERKSHIRE HILLS (which
TRP admits he stole from freely in creating Mingeborough and its 
inhabitants), there is a prominent reference to an old dwelling called
"Silvernail House."  Isn't Webley the name of a gun manufacturer?
