IMO, BULLSHIT. It's too easy for me to carry around an *entire* UNIX system
on my laptop and go to Radio Shack to purchase rudimentary equipment to tap
into phone lines. And out here in the west, there's just way *too many* empty
miles of land for 'Them' to patrol, and I can go out there, tap into Their
lines and make whatever I want available. Oh I may get caught sooner or
later, but ya just need to be smart (of course, I'm violating that rule
right now by mentioning this, but what the hey...)

Nah...people have already been conditioned through TV exposure to sit
in front of blue-glowing tubes for hours on end. AS the Web gets better
& better, it'll just suck in more & more of 'em.

Well, sometimes the best place to hide is right in front of their noses...

I agree.

Big Bro can't really stop strong crypto, cause the math/methods are pretty
straightforward, and easy to implement. S/W changes would be relatively minor,
IMO.
