Oh, of course the other thing is Prairie and Frenesi's golden hair and
cornflower blue eyes. Frenesi has to be a Corn Goddess, doesn't she?
(read that description ironically, of course. I means CHiPS?)
I don't deny that one can see such parallels but the question remains
if they are there then why? For the life of me I have not been able to
come up with any good reason. Orpheus and his harp, well yes, not just
because it is sanctioned by the cringingly good pun, but because it
fits with all sorts of other things.
