Names and Addresses

"Speaking of Blood and Vato, I'm curious as to why they each use
their _own_ names in their dialogues -- as in (from fallible memory)
 
  Blood: Time to lock and load, Blood
  Vato:  Let's go, Vato"


Because they are not only nicknames but familiar terms of address.  Similarly,
you might have a character named "Dude" who addresses everyone as "Dude", eg.

Dude: Hey, Dude!  What's up?
