[Brett Porter]

In my best Stencil-ese:

Brett g Porter holds Bachelor's in Jazz Composition and Master's in
Electronic/Computer Music Composition from the University on Miami
(Florida). From 1984 to 1990 he was the World's Angrist Trombonist; playing
jazz, classical, and occasionally with a Colombian Salsa Band. As an
undergrad, he pursued a minor in lit, read CoL49 & V as a Freshman, GR the
next year.

Porter currently survives writing audio software in the broadcast industry
as part of his general fascination with things that make noise. He and his
wife just bought a house in Fanwood, New Jersey and expect their first baby
this October.

Porter is greatly enjoying Pynchon-l, especially the tangents and the V
readalong.

Turn-ons: Microbrewed Ales, loud, angry Jazz, fast computers
Turn-offs: Yard work, bad spellers, and people who flame.
