Welcome

[David L. Pelovitz]

I finished my Ph.D. at NYU this past year
(on Pynchon, of course).  I've been living in Washington
DC for the last couple of years after 6 years in NYC
and a grudging admission of being born and raised in NJ.
Currently looking for a teaching position, I'm
all set to relocate as necessary.

Outside of literature, I'm pretty mucha  pop-culture kind of kind
with special interest in rock music (all sorts from
The Grateful Dead to the Smashing Pumpkins), The Simpsons,
the New York Giants, and the internet.  In my spare time,
I make tie-dye and pontificate among friends.
