We're getting personal? Why are we getting personal? Don't you know 
They're watching? Oh well, since we can't hide from Them we might as 
well confuse them with an overload of information. (I assume we're all 
lying, right?) Here goes:
I was born in 1968 in Nam (that's Namibia, or Suedwest, for the 
geographically challenged) and am the offspring of proud German 
pioneers a la Foppl. I've spent the second half of my life here in Cape 
Town (the most beautiful city in the world) - apart from a brief two year 
stint in the SADF defending South Africa from Nelson Mandela and all 
those other godless communists. I'm currently working on a PhD and 
am also teaching fresh(wo)men at UCT, and have retained an interest 
in TRP ever since I wrote an MA on GR & PM science.
