Dennis Potter screenings in NYC

I don't much like hs later work - too much of his rather grubby tits
and arse obsessions and too predictable also. But his early work
includes some fine specimens, especially my favourite `Blue Remembered
Hills' which appeared on UK TV in the early 70s with an all star cast.
Not that it was so out of the ordinary for those times when the Beeb
had a run for about 4-5 years of excellent one-off plays in their Play
for Today series. They don't make them like they used to . . .
