TS and George Formby

George Formby was, if my memory is correct, a Scottish (?) music hall 

     singer/performer.  Music hall was sort of like American vaudeville.

Kinda like Osborne's "The Entertainer":  "they're all dead".

Glad someone mentioned Dennis Potter:  Pennies from Heaven was on public 
tv here.  Would love to see more of his work.
