No idea what it means, but the context -- Pirate meets a derelict ogling
Girl Guides at a water fountain in a park, and threatens to call the
police -- seems familiar...

Isn't this a central incident in Finnegans Wake?  HCE in the Phoenix Park?

Do the words `your sound will be the sizzling night' occur in FW?

Or has my memory gone completely spongiform and I've made this all up?
