A couple of weeks ago I checked Ingram's on-line listings for signs of 
TRP activity, and found the following:

"Title:  Untitled - Thomas Pynchon novel
 ISBN:  0-670-81374-5
 Pub. Date:  12/1999
 Publisher:  Viking Penguin. . ."

We could be a year *out* of the GRGR ;^)
