I think that it's all going to depend upon everyone here abiding by some
kind of posting rule for messages dealing with M&D; something like
including the highest page number you (the poster) have read in the book.
That way, if someone else has not read that far they can either save such
a message for later reference or just delete it.
My general thinking is that, should such a rule be adhered to, then the
P-List could be of assistance should one come to a particularly
troublesome passage or section...you could get some help here.
The types of difficulties I'm thinking of are passages which might require
some sort of background knowledge...technical, historical, etc. which one
might not have. Interpretive/literary issues should probably be left
until the vast majority of us have finished the book.
Anyway, I doubt that I'll be unsubscribing.
